The Planetary Ball Mill BM 1200+ is a high-tech laboratory device designed for materials mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, new product development, and small batch production. With its compact design, high efficiency, low noise, and versatile features, this planetary ball mill is ideal for use in research and development institutions, universities, and enterprise laboratories. It can produce up to four samples simultaneously, making it a valuable tool for high-throughput experiments. When equipped with a vacuum ball mill tank, it can also process samples under vacuum conditions.
The BM 1200+ operates on the planetary movement principle, providing high-speed grinding with significant energy input, resulting in fine particle sizes. This system allows for grinding of four different samples of varying sizes and materials simultaneously. The machine is controlled by a frequency converter, allowing the user to adjust the rotating speed to achieve desired results, with built-in protections for under-voltage and over-current situations. The machine also features adjustable operational modes such as one-way, alternation, and succession, allowing for efficient grinding processes.
With safety features including a switch to prevent operation when the cover is open, the BM 1200+ ensures secure handling during use. The low center of gravity, stable performance, and easy operation make this device reliable in various laboratory settings. The planetary ball mill's noise level is under 60 dB, making it suitable for quiet laboratory environments. Additionally, the speed ratio can be adjusted (1:-2, 1:-2.5, or 1:-3), and the grinding jars are available in sizes from 50 mL to 4 liters, providing flexibility for different sample volumes.
PermeGear V-Series Stirrers are made for use with our Franz cells. These units do not have temperature control of any kind. They have aluminum supply manifolds mounted toward the rear that connect to a user supplied water bath and pump or heater/recirculator.
PermeGear H-Series Stirrers are made for use with our Side-Bi-Side cells. All but the H1 Stirrers have aluminum supply manifolds mounted toward the rear, which connect to a user-supplied heater/circulator. The long horizontal manifold tubes have removable hose barb fittings allowing the water jackets of the diffusion cells to be connected with latex tubing.
